Young and at higher risk of HIV
Programming with young people from key affected populations: Progressive and positive practices in the region.
A symposium hosted by the Asia-Pacific Interagency Task Team on Young Key Affected Populations
Sunday 28 August 2011
16:30-17:40
Room C201, BEXCO
HIV programmes in Asia have increasingly recognized the need to engage key affected populations in the AIDS response.
However, within these populations there is diversity in age, with different needs and access to HIV programmes and services among young key affected populations (YKAPs). The symposium will share evidence-based and promising practice in strategic information and programming with YKAPs; and advocate for strengthening leadership and participation of YKAPs in the AIDS response.
